Join the Friends of the Liesbeek for an easy 4km Fun Run in and around the Two Rivers Urban Park and Rosebank Greenbelt. The run will start at the entrance to the River Club, head up along the Liesbeek River through river banks and areas in various stages of rehabilitation, continue under the N2 bridge, turn around at the children’s play park at the Rosebank Greenbelt, and return along the opposite bank of the river adjacent to Liesbeek Parkway, ending back at the entrance to the River Club.

Time: 5.30pm for 6pm
Where: Two Rivers Urban Park, Observatory
Expect to discover a new trail along the river as well as some of the products of the work carried out by Friends of the Liesbeek and the City of Cape Town’s Kadar Asmal teams in the area which has initiated the recovery of an important wetland system.
Although the route will run along pathways it is of a trail nature, so please wear appropriate shoes and clothing. Walkers, children and pets are welcome!
Parking will be available at the Two Rivers Urban Park parking lot opposite Hartleyvale hockey stadium on Liesbeek Parkway, near the River Club.
